Our members investigate and prevent fraud in many different industries including, banking and finance, health care, governament, non-profit, retail, litigation support. The collective knowledge of our members is what sets the Utah Chapter ACFE apart.
The Utah Chapter ACFE is dedicated to helping prevent Fraud throughout the state. Our website serves as a whistleblower resource for anyone in the community to report fraud annonymously. Because of this, we have assited in the investigation of several alleged frauds throughout the community.
Students from all of Utah's universities and colleges are invited to come and participate in our monthly chapter training events. Tickets for students are often subsidized by the Utah Chapter allowing students to participate at little to no cost. Through these efforts, we hope to ignite the spark for the next generation of fraud fighters. The Utah Chapter ACFE also provides generous donations to the National ACFE Scholarship fund as well as awards thousands of dollars in local scholarships.
The Utah Chapter ACFE provides 10 live continuing education trainings throughout the year. Live trainings include a three-course lunch and are held on the first Tuesday of every month, with the exception of January and July. Additional self-study training courses and tools are available on our website.
Additionally, our White Collar Crime Conference is held every other year in October and consists of 14 CPE hours from a variety of speakers.
